I'm no expert but enjoy good food, good service and a fair price. We enjoy eating at lunch time. Hope this helps.
No, try uber eats or one of those to get delivery
Look at it this way if they are that busy...got to be good food . Also better to take care of customers in front of you than the phone.
They close at 9
Absolutely. Check with the host/hostess when they seat you for more information, like where to find your particular dietary needs on the menu. ...and just so you know ahead of time, they don't serve any pork products.
The food is either hit or miss here. Sometimes excellent, sometimes just blah. Same with the sushi. The rolls tend to be over drenched with sauce. Takeout ordering is easy and quick. Service is good. Just wish they would improve the consistency.
I purchased sweet and sour chicken to go. Got home and found sweet and sour sauce so old it was broke down, it tasted like ketchup and sugar water. And runny as water. I called and talked to manager asking for him to fix. And he said he would not. To eat it that way. So I told him I would rate him and he said go ahead as if he didn't care.
Always rather good. This time, however, fried rice was not fresh....but okay. There is one particular older male waiter who is very kind and funny. I really like him. Makes for a fun evening. I'm sorry that I cannot remember his name. Thick, black hair.
You can get better tasting and fresher sushi at Smiths. Sakura's staff is rude and the food has been disappointing the last 3 visits. Sad.
I've eaten here several times and loved it, but last night I ordered Shrimp fried rice to go and it was a huge disappointment. All rice, with a few admittedly good large shrimp but virtually no veggies or egg. No flavor. I will not be ordering takeout from Sakura's again.
Best sushi in Kingman. No military appreciation pricing which is unusual for 🍣.
Excellent place to eat. Servers are fast, friendly, and proficient. Very good dining experience. Lots of food. Lunch specials. I really enjoy this exp, every time. Great for families, but also very worthy of special dates.
Our sushi was wonderful, the pineapple fried rice was great. Our family dinner was perfect and the place is charming with really good service.
Food was very average. Nothing spectacular. The service however was awesome!!! Nice ambience.
My Thai tea tasted more like milk. Or I can say a water down Thai tea. Waited for like 15 mins before the worker walk up to us and ask if we are ready to order or wanted drinks. Food wise, I won’t say anything bad but I’ll rate my experiences. Store cleanliness - 8/10Food - 5/10(always a hit or miss, for me it’s a miss this time around)I was recommended to this place by a friend. Wouldn’t come back here. Not worth it.
This place has awesome food always... service depends on what server you get.... BUT today my wife and I noticed a few employees walking from behind the curtain stuffing there faces above the roll making station...
I ordered the veggie delight and it came with a great amount of tofu and it was tasty! Fresh veggies cooked enough but still crisp.
Really great service and food. The soup was great and they allowed us to share the bowl. We also ordered dumplings. We ordered sushi rolls. Two different types. Loved it. The waitress (I think Kimberly) was fantastic. Will definitely return.
I have had only good experiences at this Sakura. The man working up front is always friendly and efficient. I normally order take-out and the food is ready quickly. My favorite is the salmon bento box, there is a lot of food for a low price, and the salmon and veggies are fantastic.
Very good dining experience. Fair prices. The service awesome. The teriyaki plates were good and the sushi was small but tasted delicious. Great stop at Kingman for travelers like us.
Got an orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken as a to go order. All I have to say is it tasted awful! The orange chicken was over done and chewy.. the sweet and sour chicken was also overcooked and chewy and the sauce was runny and tasted like sugar water. You couldn’t cover up the bad taste of the old overcooked chicken with the sauces on either entree it was absolutely disgusting and a waste of my money...
Whether you are looking to eat here or seeking employment in this place please heed our review as we are speaking out of 4 years of experience with this place. First the food, the food here is mediocre at best and that's honestly being generous. This place isn't a true "Sushi restaurant" it's honestly more of a over glorified generic Chinese restaurant that mostly serves low quality sweet and sour chicken and chowmein. Ingredients are outdated and is of low quality served hard or dry from age. We've often found gritty pebbles and hair mixed in the food and their "Sushi" is of buffet quality served thin, dry and tiny overpriced portions. To those seeking employment here the management of this place has serious integrity issues and tend to play favoritism. The owners and management are well aware of these issues but do nothing about it unless you offer them special "favors". Management is young, inexperienced, careless and unwilling to listen.
I’ve eaten sushi all over the US and no lie this was literally the worst sushi I’ve ever had in my entire life. The sushi was rubbery and lacked any flavor at all. Usually my boyfriend and I are fighting each other for the last piece but not this time. Anyone that says their sushi is good has obviously never had good sushi. Not only that but after our dining experience we were both left with upset stomachs. We will definitely not ever be returning. Such a disappointment.
Unfortunately the beef was tough, the calamari was not fresh and the miso soup was cold. :(
Our last visit was very disappointing. Why do you need to drown your sushi rolls in a TON of sauce? You absolutely drench them. With the fresh sushi now at Smiths, we now have a reason to go elsewhere.
Love this place! What's not to like about it, right? The minced chicken with lettuce wrap is my new favorite, the beverage glasses are too small
Take out only. Still very good food
Great food. Love the sushi and soup.
Very nice, Affordable, Great food
If THEY screw up on your order I hope you don’t expect to get a remake because they will refuse to do it! Literally the most horrible customer service I’ve experienced! Sad part is I was a regular!
First of all no one welcomes you ! Then the waitress had a look on her like she was forced to be there. Then ask for our drinks tea is like muddy water. Then came and asked if we had figured it out ???? I normally get asked if we ready to order. My husband’s shrimp dinner was cold and mind brunt my mouth!! It tasted like if I had seasoned it not the best Thai chicken 😩will not go back when we paid he didn’t even ask how the food was. We never got ask if we wanted refills!
For being in a small town in a land locked state, this restaurant is an oasis in the desert! Good food, great fresh sushi and sashimi! The service is pretty darn reliable and the employees are friendly. Prices are fair given the quality of food and seafood.
